Vectorman was added to the Wii Virtual Console on February 27, 2007, in Japan and April 5, 2007, in Europe, and in North America on September 22, 2008. The games have since appeared on several game compilations, including the Sega Genesis Collection for the PlayStation 2 and PlayStation Portable, the Sonic Gems Collection for the Nintendo GameCube, and Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. It was released on Octoin North America and on Novemin Europe. Track titles and order are based on the VGM packs from Project2612 and the Zophar's Domain.Vectorman is a series of run and gun platform games developed by BlueSky Software and published by Sega for the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis. A Game Genie code was used to stop the timer. In the last stage (Day 16: Twist and Shout) the in-game timer counts down too fast for the whole track to loop. Tracks not found in the options menu were recorded while playing the game. All tracks were recorded from within the game by using the sound test available in the options menu. All tracks were recorded at 96 KHz 24-bit using a Sound BlasterX G5 sound card and the stereo headphones jack located at the front of the Mega Drive.

This soundtrack was recorded from a real SEGA Mega Drive (PAL, Model 1, VA4) using a Mega Everdrive X3 cartridge.
